General Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining & expanding customer accounts within an assigned territory, focusing on sales growth, relationship building, and customer experience. This role involves implementing sales strategies, maintaining industry knowledge, and reporting key performance metrics to the Sales Director. Success in this role is measured by meeting sales targets, increasing market share, and expanding FabACab’s industry presence.

Duties & Responsibilities 

1. Primary Responsibilities

  • Sales Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets by proactively managing opportunities and ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
  • Pipeline/CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and ensure timely follow-ups with prospects and clients, effectively managing documentation throughout the sales lifecycle to move opportunities forward.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Research, assess, and qualify leads within the target market to identify potential opportunities. Continuously develop and implement strategies to generate new leads, while tailoring sales approaches to meet client needs and increase the likelihood of success. Distribute quotes in a timely manner.
  • Field Work: Regularly travel (at least 5 days per month) to meet with clients, conduct surveys, and perform site visits. Build rapport through face-to-face interaction and ensure a clear understanding of client expectations.
  • Account Management & Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while overseeing accounts from a sales perspective. Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing needs, providing tailored solutions, and fostering ongoing communication to support continued business growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and engage new prospects through targeted outreach, meetings, and networking to expand the client base and increase brand visibility.
  • • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and acting as a trusted advisor. Maintain a focus on client satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.

2. Primary Responsibilities

  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver engaging, tailored presentations to potential clients, showcasing products and services. Provide accurate quotes and negotiate terms to meet both client needs and company objectives.
  • Communication with Internal Teams: Effectively relay client requirements, expectations, and feedback to internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities with your CEM. Maintain an organized system for managing client data.
  • Product Knowledge Development: Stay current on FabACab’s products and services. Continuously develop a deep understanding of available tools and solutions to effectively present and explain them to clients.
  • Industry & Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and market developments, leveraging this knowledge to engage clients and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Annual Territory Review: Conduct an annual review of the designated sales territory, analyzing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and assessing market trends to refine sales strategies and ensure continued success.

Qualifications

Education: 

Associate degree from an accredited college/university in ‘Sales’ and/or related field

Experience:

(2) years of sales experience in the elevator industry or related field

Salary & Benefits

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $107,500 – $120,000 in first year
  • Uncapped commissions
  • Additional incentive opportunities available for exceeding annual sales goal
