What Do You Need for a Quote?
In an industry that’s often confusing, FabACab is here to bring clarity and simplicity to elevator cab interiors. Our quote process is designed to give you the answers you need quickly, so you can stay on schedule and on budget with your project.
FabACab has access to many material options, but we frequently use Wilsonart and Formica Laminates. Other options include a wide selection of metals (all manufactured in house), glass and resin materials. Also new to FabACab is our sublimation metal option—perfect for MRL product customers. The possibilities are endless!
Cab Dimensions vs Budget Quotes
Our pricing is based on square footage. We just need the height of the cab to the canopy, the width of the cab shell, and then the depth of the cab shell to provide you with an accurate quote. From there, it will be based on the types of materials you’ve selected for your interior.
When requesting quotes, it’s always recommended that you send us a few photos of the existing cab too. Then we can make sure that there aren’t any unique features that we’ll need to consider that could potentially affect the cost.
If you’re looking for a quick estimate and purely a budget quote, the only information we need is the capacity of the elevator. Then we’ll be able to requote your project based on the dimensions as we get closer to completion. Just let us know which type of quote you’re after, and we can get the numbers sent your way.
Our pricing is competitive compared to other vendors. We’re generally within +/- 5% of any other quote. The one BIG plus with FabACab though is that we include all approval and shipping costs in our quotes. We don’t want you to have any surprises.
Most of our competitors do not include the shipping costs in their base quotes, and instead will add the expense on at the end of the project, right when you least expect it. But with FabACab, as long as the dimensions you provide are correct, and your customer is good with the design we quote, then that number is your final, out-the-door cost with us. We have plenty of options to choose from!
Customization with FabACab
Our design process at FabACab is a personalized experience, and we can offer design guidance to whatever extent you may need. We’re here to take the pressure off you and save you time by handling site visits, as needed, to review existing cab conditions and to get an idea of what would work for the new interior.
We also have the ability to offer one-on-one design sessions with your customers to help them pick a design and color selections which will then be incorporated into your quote details to help get the job sold.
