For your first FabACab install, we always suggest that you stick to your regular installation time for an elevator cab interior. Once a technician has completed one FabACab install, though, we often find that they average a half day to a day to install. Getting through that first demo can give you some significant time savings!
We listened to actual technicians when designing our interiors, so they make more sense to install in an intuitive way. The vertical panels work with long monarch clips made from aluminum. With that, we have a set already pre-installed to the back of each panel. The set can then be directly applied to the cab shell. This is done with self-tapping screws. You just line up the clips on the wall with our user-friendly template. Then the panel gets lined up and can be set down on the cab shell clips.
The horizontal panels in our designs use our proprietary Gen-3 Brackets. We have a J-channel in the bottom panel to keep the panel level. Then the rest of the panels come with pre-installed clips that allow them to easily stack one on top of the other.
